A fine tradition finds a new audience
STRATEGY • IDENTITY • LABELS
Queso Campo Real is an artisanal cheese brand from rural Madrid with over 60 years of history. The Campo Real team wanted to update the brand’s visual identity to reach younger consumers and stand out on super market shelves, while maintaining its authenticity.
The name Campo Real translates to “the real countryside”, so we used it as inspiration and designed a logo that evokes the morning sun rising over the horizon in the fields where the cattle grazes.
To allow consumers to easily recognize the large product line, we simplified the product architecture by creating three sub brands: Tradicional (a sheep, goat, and cow’s milk mix), Puro de Oveja (100% sheep’s milk), and cheese spreads. We used consistent colors to signify aging and milk qualities across the cheese sub brands and key ingredient images for spreads.
This project was done in collaboration with designers Victor Fornerolli and Andrea Rivas.
